WEARABLE ANALOGUE
FIRST YEAR 2018
STUDIO 01.01.01
HIGH DISTINCTION
This project involved a critical analysis and deconstruction of the spatial typologies within the environment where I sketch, and the re-composition of these elements into a tactile, wearable analogue that aimed to replicate my sketching experience.
The aim of this project was to introduce core principles regarding spatial typologies. This design process required an in-depth site analysis and consideration of different elements that influence the human body within a space; including light, smell, materiality, temperature, etc. The construction of this analogue encouraged a developed understanding of materials, model making, ergonomics and human factors.
